DDB Access for Mac

In comparison with the iPad, iPhone version, the Mac version allows for concurrent texts, fast hovering, and parallel lists for words and characters. If reduced to a narrow window, DDB Access shows in a smartphone-like format side by side with the original text.

The store version (automatic updates) and the "side loaded" SL version below (manual updates but reinstallable) receive the same updates.

With universities and institutions quickly moving to AI, DDB Access remains helpful to audit AI results and thwart AI hallucinations, as well as for any scholars wanting to challenge AI interpretations.

As a vintage application maintained by a vintage developer, both this site and the store version may vanish at any time.

Frequent users should prefer the SL version and keep a copy of the installation file.

In this context, the main target is application stability. Technically, the application is based on the "obsolete" Swift/AppKit framework: the best guarantee is that it is still used by large corporations, starting with Apple for their internal needs.
